I bought this app and paid for it years ago for my older son. I’m not sure if it was purchased by a developer or what happened, but my son tried to log in and it insisted I needed to purchase a whole new service. Pretty shady you would be expected to pay twice.

I love this app so much when I was like 1 or 2 I had this app for so long and My brother knows his letters when I was playing it my brother was siting next to me learning his letters thanks for releasing letter school thank you

I just downloaded the game because it was on my old iPad, and it was on my iPad and for some reason some buddy deleted it. So I didn’t purchase anything and for some reason I did the first star of the numbers, and when I finished number 5 it kicked me out and I went back in and in the numbers and I had to do it again, so I did it again and then again when I finished the first star it kicked me out again so please fix that. And now I figured out the question and I restored purchase and now I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 and I don’t know if I finished the numbers well I know that I completed the first star finals but every time I go to see if I completed the 2nd star and it keeps kicking me out so also please fix that. And also I don’t have the lite version no more.

I just like the app so much but it does crash a lot and that's fine.

Kids would play this ever now and again, but once they hit the subscribe button there is no way to get out of it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Crap coding to force a purchase

This is a great game when it came out I made the purchase it was well worth it for my toddler have everything unlocked then they didn’t update and changed it to a monthly quarterly or yearly subscription and even though I reached out for support and they told me to just hit the restore button I had to do it every single time he wanted to play the game now he goes to play the game and I hit the restore button and it says that there was never a purchase which is bull I have proof in my Apple account that I purchased this originally the company doesn’t seem to care it’s bait and switch all they care about was money not the education of kids

My son used this app years ago and it was amazing. I went to redownload it for our daughter and it is horrible. Why mess with something good. Why not just create a totally new app and leave this one alone.

I miss the old Shapes Toddler Preschool where it just went “Find the [shape]” and then you clicked on it. I also miss the other Toddler Preschool apps like the Alphabet and Numbers ones. My little brother learned his shapes with that app and it means a lot to me and my family. It is a shame it isn’t available anymore. Currently, we are teaching my brother to read with the “Everything Has Shapes” book on iTunes. We really wish that the old version was available again. The subscription model is annoying as well and I wish it was just a one-time fee on the App Store. It is fine that you went in a new direction with your app development and as an app developer myself, I understand that. However, I ask that you at least make Complete Toddler Preschool app available on the App Store again for those who prefer the older version from when you were Toddler Teasers.

My little guy (age 3) loved this game, and I really liked how much it helped with his coordination. Then one day we logged in and it was limited access unless we paid $12.99 a month. We liked it enough that I signed up for the subscription. The problem was that every time we opened the game I had to put a code in to prove I was a parent and reactivate the subscription. If he changed games within the game, it would prompt for me to put in the code again. I hoped that this would get better. I deleted the game and redownloaded it. I needed to cancel our subscription at the disappointment of my child.

Downloaded for my daughter and after the 7 day trial I was charged and we have not been able to access the full version, we tried everything they said and it hasnt worked. There is no support or answer from letterschool

I paid for a year but have never received the app.

Ask all your friends to write negative reviews until addressed. It seems the developer had a change of heart and is not honoring full price upgrades. Why bother when you can sucker people into monthly subscriptions instead...

I adore this game and it's been not only perfect for my toddler but fun for me to review my cursive. And so of course I purchased the full version immediately because I love the strategy in the steps of how to teach the writing. I think it is absolutely genius. However with the new update I now have the lite version. I was disappointed and annoyed. I clicked on restore purchase but every time I exit the app I have to go through the whole process of restoring the purchase again to be able to play any of the letters we purchased from the original version. I don't expect to have the full version unlocked, just the parts I paid for from the original version. I hope it can be fixed because my daughter loves this game.

I have purchased the annual the annual access but am unable to enjoy it as it is stuck on the LITE version since day 1. I have attempted to restart the ipad, delete and restore the app. I also tried the infamous “restore purchase” button and am met with a notice stating I have no prior purchases. I have emailed the app twice and it’s been two weeks with no response. It’s a shame because I truly like this app, and so does my two year old. He was very excited to unlock the other topics. Going to contact Apple to refund.

Buy this app if you want to be ripped off. Developer acknowledges issue, but provides no path to fixing... our child suffers as a result.

I used to really enjoy app from this company. When they went to prescription service I was fine with it because it’s worth paying for updates, extra content etc.. However every single time I open the app now it asks me to buy the full version even though I have a monthly membership. I have to hook to the internet and click restore purchases. It loses all of my child’s progress every single time.

UPDATE: The developer reached out to me to address the problem. They were very helpful. The app works perfectly now. I highly recommend this app for your little one. It is wonderful minus the hiccup. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I paid for this app a while ago. It had block letters, cursive, shapes and numbers. Now it’s asking for a subscription purchase??? I either want my money back for access to the content I paid for. And yes, I tried the restore purchases which didn’t work. This isn’t the first time you all have done this. Look forward to hearing from the developer.

Update. I reset my phone after deleting the app and was able to finally restore the purchase. There is a glitch where I’m having to restore every single time my kids exit the app, but I contacted support and was told an update would be released soon to fix that issue. The app itself is wonderful and my kids love playing and learning through play. I previous purchased this before the change in model and now I only have the lite version. I don’t mind paying for a subscription to the new content but I’d like my children to have access to the content I paid for. Pretty disappointed since I feel like I threw my money away

I bought the full version of this app a while ago for my son. Had access to many shapes block letters and cursive writing but now i cant even access the app. Its asking me to buy the full version which i previously did or to get a subscription. Why would i pay for something i already paid for again. Either give me back my access or give back the money. Update: You “Restore Purchase” button that you ask me to “just click on” doesn't work. All it does is freeze the app. I had already sent a message to you customer support and tried your restore button before the review. You want me to change the rating? How about you give me access to what i already paid for first.

Great app, was totally worth the price. Then during their latest refresh they changed it to a monthly subscription service. At such a ridiculous price and sketchy history of bait and switch I would not at all recommend you do business with them. Update: after working with support we were able to restore my purchase which didn’t work automatically for some reason. Looks like I’ll be grandfathered in.

The “Restore Purchase” button does not work. It freezes the app which leaves my 4 year old screaming at me to fix it EVERY TIME THIS APP IS USED.

Used to be a great game before the masters update. Now they blocked subjects behind a subscription service. Like seriously, I want to pay one time for it, not every month or year.

I must have watched a review for an old version. Bought this one. No idea what it even does. Perhaps because I am not a 4 yo.

This used to be a 5 star app, every child loved it. Now that its updated no child is interested. I really regret updating it. 😔

I hadn’t noticed the app change until recently when I opened it for my daughter to use. My son LOVED the old version as well as kids I have nannied 5+ years ago. I had bought several packs back then that can now no longer be used. This new version is okay for my son to play (4) but he doesn’t deem it as “fun” as the old one, and my daughter can’t use this game now until older :(

I had this app 4 years ago and loved it. There was so much content. I recently re downloaded it for my 3 yo and discovered that the app has completely changed. The previous version taught so much. This app is okay, but used to be suburb.

I love this app I am eight years old and antique and I want to be a teacher when I grow up and this is a great experience because my brother is a autistic and he has special needs and this is good for him I’ve done all of who all the shapes and it is very good and I think he will pass a mess and he will learn his shapes and I’m thinking of that you should I’m good after remains all the shapes I’m gonna take a piece of paper and he should write them down drawl then and I have two other apps that are good too and this is a very good experience for him and I am eight and I go to get Montessori school so I go to M so I already know division so I know that they can get into 369 so it’s pretty easy and I’m sorry I’m kid and I was doing that and I know my know my moms email said sorry if you did not want me doing that and this is very good and that’s my last notification and I never really long things that I really enjoying this game for learning thingamajig or

Update 2018: I’ve kept this app on my phone all these years because my kids loved it. I had to update to iOS 11 to get other apps to work. I was shocked when I saw the old icon missing and this new thing in it’s place. My current 2.5yo is not interested in it. I wish they could have just kept it the same and made it compatible. 2011: My 4yo surprised me by teaching this game to my 16mo... It's his favorite! He loves to pop the balloons on the first screen. It's better than the Fisher Price apps I have.

Please reconsider and bring back the old app. This update changed the entire app. My son used to love it and learned his shapes since two yrs old. He loved the games puzzle and sticker page. Soo disappointing. Now three he gets angry and frustrated when the shape tracing fails. There’s no fun in this games puzzles anymore.

I never downloaded this app. Not sure how this company was able to take the Toddler Teaser company’s icon and pose as a second rate imposter. I paid for the other app and this one is garbage!!

This was one of my sons favorite games. He has autism and does not understand why he can’t play his game anymore. Thanks a bunch....

The rollout of this app is terrible. The new app removes ALL previous in-app purchases. This app is completely different from the original and beloved Shapes app. As such, it should be listed as a different app so users are not tricked and can keep their own app if they choose. The old app doesn't work with iOS 11, but some people choose to use iOS 10 or below. Since I lost all my previous in-app purchases, I might as well shop around for a different app for my kids.

Not only did it teach my 5 year old how to write, but it taught my 2 year old the alphabet, numbers, and shapes!

The original version of this app was way better.

I did not know this app would completely change with the new update. I wish there would have been an in app pop up notice or reminder so I didn't have to lose such a cool app. The old app was simple, easy and straight to the point for my two kids to learn their shapes. The new app doesn't do it for us. RIP old app. You will be missed.

My child loved this app. I didn’t realize the update would change it since I just click update when it pops up. I had purchased packs for my child and now they are useless. This is a completely different app now. Update: company got in touch with me and offered a refund for the previous app purchase. While I still don’t like the new app, I like the fact that their customer service is so great!
