Shapes Toddler Preschool App Reviews

Shes three and has played it twice. Her second time (weeks after first) she started asking when therell be a chance to touch the hexagon. She never knew that shape before. I figure it would be nice if there was another level, or an option for me to add in a new shape now and then.... Lets see if she can tell an octagon from a hexagon.

This isnt an Earth-shattering piece of software by any stretch of the imagination, but it does do what it is supposed to. My 8 month old likes it and probably will for some time. 3 stars

I think the other apps that are a part of the shapes app should be free as well. My daughter loves playing this one but I dont want to have to pay for the other ones, the the colours, when I didnt pay for this one!

Sonny boy is 14 months old, loves the cheering from the children when he picks the correct shape. Awesome app to occupy a squirmy child at diaper cange time!

My child is 22 months and he loves this app. The shapes are very easy to click on for a child. The only problem we have is he is inpatiant and doesnt wait for the delay to touch the shape. The audio after you pick your sticker sounds like its cut short for some of them.

My 2yr 9month old really enjoyed this but it was much too easy for her. She got eveything correct the entire time she was playing and didnt need to think about it. I cant imagine a 4yr old finding it challenging. There needs to be a wider variety of shapes and more shapes per page. That being said, the game is well designed and easy for young children to play without assistance. She really enjoyed collecting all the stickers. It kept her attention for a long time. We will try the alphabet and number apps to see if those are more challenging.

My little girl loves this game. It taught her all the shapes! Only one problem as far as I can see....unless I am missing something. You cant seem to clear the sticker page. Even after starting a new game, the stickers pile on top of each other. It would be nice if the page would clear after every game but not a big deal overall.

My 2 year old brother loved it.he has do much fun playing it. And if you dont know how to clear the sticker page go to the menu and the go to rewards there it says clear stickers or save to picture library :)

I ended up buying the whole "quizzing" app from the same company for $1.99, because this app is so good! Clear, simple and rewarding. The game asks your child to, "find the (shape.)" When your child presses the right shape, they get rewarded with cheers and claps - which my 2 year old loves. After a few correct answers, they get to pick a sticker to put on their sticker page. After one week, my 2 year old understood all the shapes and gets ALL the answers right. Im just amazed.

Love this app! I love that it says the shape name even if its the incorrect one, just to help teach them what it is.

I live this app and highly recommend it to all parents for their toddlers. I love how even if they choose the wrong answer it still for example tells you what the shape is.

Simple, repetitive, responsive, enjoyable and free.

Latest update now crashes my iPhone 4S iOS 6. It was working great until today when I updated. Too bad. I love this game, and so does my 2year old. Hes disappointed that "matching" doesnt work anymore.

Is there a way to erase the sticker page?

My son can find his way and really enjoys this game. Hes two and enjoys that there are a few steps to this game.

My daughters 18 months and loves this app. Will be better when she is older and can learn better from it through :) just wish I could buy the whole thing but I dont own a credit card.

I downloaded every free shapes game in the App Store and this is one is golden. Toddlers easily grasp what they have to do and they can tell when they get it right or wrong, unlike a lot of other apps. Therefore they learn those shapes fast! The books are annoying but you can turn them off.

So easy to use and the big shapes and easy to click images keeps my kids entertained! I pop this into our iPad at the grocery store and it keeps them quiet while I do my shopping. Awesome!

My girls love this app. Just wish it had a few more options.
